10 Things I Yearn For.

There are things I wish they just flow in me naturally,rather than having to work on them.I will gently and zealously work on them for they are key to and beautiful life of success and joy.

1.Listen More,Talk Solutions & Positive.

I want to be talking when I am sure of the facts.

Talk when I can defend my point of view.

Talk when I can assertively stand and live my words.

Talk when I can clearly and articulately air my views.

Talk solution, wisdom,positive and inspiration

Otherwise,I choose  keep quiet.

2.100%:Energy;Confidence,Passion.

It's either I am going to  give everything I do 100% or 0 %.

I have come to hate partial results.

3:Now & Now.

I don't want to postpone any longer.

Time is now and now.Tomorrow is not part of accomplishing what was expected to finish today.

4.The wisdom to know:

The Why,What,Who,How,When,Where.

5.Consistency.

Holding on a little bit longer till it yields and continuously doing it despite the challenges.

6.Seeing The Big Picture.

Sweat the small things and see the big picture.

Life is huge and magnificent.

What is the worst thing that can happen?

Take the bull by its horns.

Take the risk.

7.Gently Adventurous.

Just going places and experiencing life.

8.Creative & Innovative.

Just creating extraordinary things.

Products and services that will bring a different breath of life.

9.Stronger Faith.

Staying steadfast to the course I am taking in life.Strongly believing a game changer is on the way.

10.Proactive.

Seeing far and acting accordingly.

The good thing is,I can stop wishing and just work towards acquiring those traits.

Keep On Searching.

Part of the lyrics of a John Denver's song says;

...looking for something,I can believe,looking for something I'd like to do with life. 

Many people can relate to that message.

Searching for something they can do with their lives;

You go to school play hard and read hard,but you wish the former was all what life is about.

In your youth,many of us  are still searching for who we are and what we want to do with our lives. 

In your formative years,we were taught by people who had studying nothing or very minimal knowledge about child psychology,and how to propel a kid into creative thinking.In fact,sadly most of the teachers in pre-primary school in our Kenyan set up,majority if not all do not have a degree in any field.

You go to school to study to become an expert in a certain line.

But the system is skewed,you land into studying something that you did not connect with your heart.By the mere fact of the placement body cut you out from what you felt was in your heart in the name of cut off point. 

After clearing school,you start hustling for a business or a job opportunity.

Luckily you get a job.

Unfortunately,the job doesn't give us a thrill and you realize you are just in it to pay bills.

You did not get the job you felt it's where you belong because of two reasons.One,the job market is constricted.

Two,you did not have the skills and or experience for the job.

Remember you were cut out by the placement body?

There is a very fortunate lot who realized early in life what they wanted to do,they were mentored,the resources were there and they are living the life of their dreams.

Or,even though there were hardship your talent was just conspicuous and you get scouted for growth.

But,for you I know you are at that point where you need to put things in order and 'have a life'.You are in the lot of many who are still searching for something they can do with their life. 

I still believe in you.

I still believe there is a room for you to create the purpose you want to attach to you life.

Refuse to be defined by your job,unless your job is where your purpose is.

While still in your day job,you can slowly build your reason for being here as your 'side hustle'.

Be Ready For The Worst.Hope For The Best

When the boat Jesus and disciples was in started being wavy,and the tides went higher and higher,the disciples were faced by death.They even forgot Jesus had the power to turn around things.By the time they were waking him up,they only hoped for the best.

How on earth could have Steve Jobs thought he could be fired from the company he had formed.When he needed it most,they fired him.

It was time to start all over again.

In the wake of heightened terrorism,the enemy can strike anyone,anywhere,anytime,anyhow.

Not to forget road accidents,natural disasters,divorces,....

Yes,we are living in dangerous times.

We are not sure what might befall us the next minute.

But then,will that limit us from taking risks?

Shall we then say there is no need of going to school because jobs are few and a lot of corruption involved in getting opportunities?

That many businesses collapse before their second year of operation.Shall we then say there is no room for us?

Being ready for the worst sounds like a very pessimistic approach towards life.

But then you and I know things don't go as we would wish them to go or as they were planned.Unforeseen things crop up.

When that happens what shall we do?

Why do we insure our health and businesses?It's because we can't rule out anything can happen anytime.

Be ready for the worst.Hope for the best.

No Looking Back.

When God decides to destroy Sodom & Gomorrah,Lot and his family found favor in the eyes of the Lord.

BUT his wife looked back behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.(Gen 19:26)

That singular blunder costed Lot's wife life.

When Jesus was journeying on a road;

Luk 9:61-62;And another also said, "Lord, I will follow You, but let me first go and bid them farewell who are at my house."

But Jesus said to him, "No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God."

What if Thomas Edison listened to his attempted thousand failed tests?

Before starting it,let our reason of doing it or saying yes to something be super strong as this will give us the shock absorbers in times of failure and other set backs.

When we decide this is it now,we must stay on course till the end.

Otherwise,it could mean a restart of another life one never thought of.

Choose to fixate your eyes on what you stand for and believe in.

Nothing should shake you,for it's even more heroic to die in the course of singing the music in your heart.

And we have to be ready to make a sacrifice of letting go off what seems like we cannot do without for those are the distractors.

You feel like you can revenge on someone,no looking back.
They left you when you needed them most and all you ask yourself more questions than answers,no looking back
You feel like the world you left behind is sweet,lie,what is ahead us even more sweeter,no looking back.
 

Stay on course,no looking back!

World Alone

What if one day you find yourself alone in CBD, no people, no vehicles only buildings, what could be going on in your mind walking through the streets? 

Every time I make a mistake of trying to request for a fair treatment and we find ourselves as a group,my boss always reminds me I was interviewed alone and in any case I will be fired alone. 

You were born alone.

Rare case can only be identical or conjoined twins.

No one has a genetic make up like you. 

What works for Sherry doesn't guarantee workability for Perry. 

In the Gospel of Luke,we are told of how how two people sleeping and one will be taken the other will be left.

Two people in the field,one will be taken the other will left. 

Why then do we make decisions on popularism? 

Independence of thoughts is a critical component of defining us for it is informed by our personality and character.

You were born alone why be scared of living your life?

Why worry what everybody else will say about you?

 

How Long Can You Stand?

Joseph knew very well that if he agreed to Potiphar's demands to engage in illicit sexual affair,his life could have changed 'for the better' literally, from the look of things.

Humanly speaking,he could not have gone to jail,and he would receive other favors from Potiphar.

But he said,No.

As expected,he landed to jail.

When Shadrak, Meshek and Abedinago were supposed to bow to the King Nebuchadnezzar demands.

They refused.

Even when thrown into a den of lions,they still refused to bow.

Even though in the two scenarios they first suffered out of the choices they made.

After a while they can attest to those being the best decision they made out of the scenarios they were in.

Many times,we will find ourselves in awkward situations in life.

They will seem insurmountable but then are we not told God cannot allow us to be tempted beyond what we can overcome?

How far can you withstand criticism?

How far will your no remain to be a no.

How far will the character you've build for years remain?

How long are you going to hold onto what you believe in?

How long will you hold on to that business you are working on?

People who have remained steadfast in their character and calling are the one who make the biggest shots in life.

They are the influencers of generations.

They remain true to who they are and what they want in life and they ultimately get it.

Drink Tears,Shower With Sweat & A Firm Faith.

He felt cornered.

How could you lose your entire business empire in a day.Having worked for it for decades?

How fair is that?

Even though it did happen,he has perfectly learnt,it takes a combination of several things to actually accomplish something.

 

There is no luck when it comes to achieving anything.

Probably what many people would call luck would be an opportunity tried by someone and it turns out to yield.

Even lottery,you can't win having not tried.

And if the chances of winning were zero,nobody could have put their money in it in the first place.

 

Every Achiever knows,it takes;

Faith.

'But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt,because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind'.(James 1:6)

He must strongly believe that things are going to work out.Believe in their idea as well.

For if you have double mindedness,be warned before even starting,you won't go far.

 

Sweat.

It will take a lot of efforts to work it out.

Mental,emotional and physical efforts.

It will demand going an extra mile to work things out.

One will wear out and feel like they are taking the last breath but they still hold on.

For this is the spirit of a fighter.The spirit of achievers.

 

Tears.

It will take sacrifice.

Sacrifice of letting go things and people that cut off your head every time you raise it..

You will feel the pain of foregoing some of the sweet things you'd love to do with your time in the quest to make it happen.

Emotionally,your heart might be heavy when things will not be going as per the plan.

It might cost you relationships.

You'll ask yourself why are you even doing whatever you'll be doing to do.

But somehow you keep on keeping on.

You have to be strong even when you don't feel like.

You have to hold on even when the string is breaking.

 

Along the way others will say;

Where was God when all this was happening?

Is it worth the effort?

I resign to fate.

Those are sounds of despair and that will be the beginning of failure.
